I am not going to take credit for this one, I've seen it on so many webpages, I just though I would add it to mine. To speed up Firefox's and Mozilla's page loading you want to adjust a couple of settings. Type about:config in the address bar and hit enter. Modify the following values:
network.http.max-connections-per-server --> 16
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy --> 8
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server --> 8
network.http.pipelining --> true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests --> 8
network.http.proxy.pipelining --> true
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy --> 8
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server --> 8
network.http.pipelining --> true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests --> 8
network.http.proxy.pipelining --> true
Restart the browser and you can really notice the difference.
