Highschool Boy Builds Bicycle Entirely Out Of Wood

woodbike-1.jpg

16 year-old high school student Marco Facciola built a bike out of wood. I'm talking every part is made out of wood. Pretty damn impressive. "Marco had to complete this as a non-academic project for his International Baccalaureate, and inspiration came from his grandfather, forced to make wooden wheels for his bike during the war due to rubber shortages." Well props to both you and your grandfather, I'm sure he's proud. Say, mind if I take it for a ride? I'm working on a stunt spectacular where I set a bike on fire and jump over cats in my driveway. No I can't use my own bike Marco, it won't burn right.

Hit the jump for several close-ups of the amazing wooden gears and chain.

Fake iPhone Is Fairly Convincing, Expensive

fake-iphone.jpg

The C-002 is a very cleverly named iPhone clone.

This is the ultimate rock solid 99% iPhone clone and is selling like crazy. It is unlocked so just plug your SIM card in and you are good to go. Comes with one year warranty. Sells for only $239. No contracts. No rate plans. Just your existing SIM card is enough.

First, I've got the feeling that more than 1% of iPhone functionality is missing here. Secondly, I thought fake iPhones were sold by men in trenchcoats and/or in back alley markets for $40. I mean $240? That's real money. For a not real iPhone. However I may have to drop for one after reading a particularly poignant review.

this phone is shitting on people if i get this can i use any sim card that is not cut on or do i have to have sim card that is turned on plz respond asap

Hmm, well it appears that person doesn't own one, but has heard from a reliable source that the unit defecates on people. Interesting feature, but I'll pass after all.

A worthwhile video of the thing in action (why he chose that Eminem song is a mystery to me) and product specs after the jump.

Main features at a glance:

1. 3.5" big screen that supports finger touch and no keypad, touch pen needed.
2. Dual SIM slots that holds two SIM chips and supports SIM card switching.
3. Triband GSM 900/1800/1900MHz that supports USA GSM standard.
4. Web addresses entering; web browsing, WAP setting, web address management.
5. Unlocked to any major network carrier.
6. SMS, MMS, voicemail and cell broadcast
7. MP3, MP4, file playing, recording, phone call recording.
8. Capturing, video capturing, photo viewing, playing

USB Teddy!

This is the best USB drive in the world. Hands down. I wouldn't even care if the maximum capacity was 2MB and it caught on fire every time it was plugged in. (src:http://www.geekologie.com)

Prison Break Season 3 Episode 12

The 11th episode of the Prison Break’s 3rd season was one of the most riveting ones to date. It ended with the prisoners having 30 seconds to make their escape, leaving the viewers in the dark as to who makes it.

But, like any other hit TV show, parts of the story gets leaked and if you manage to piece all the new bits of information together, this is what you come up with for the remainder of Prison Break Season 3:

~ Only four of the prisoners escape: Michael, Whistler, Mahone and McGrady
~ Lechero gets shot in Sona, and TBag takes over the prison
~ Sucre gets sent into Sona
~ Michael sets up the exchange (Whistler for LJ) to take place in a museum. At some point during the exchange, shots are fired outside the museum and Sofia gets caught in the crossfire. Her fate is unknown at this point.
~ The Company finally takes Whistler.
