Prison Break Season 3 Episode 12

The 11th episode of the Prison Break’s 3rd season was one of the most riveting ones to date. It ended with the prisoners having 30 seconds to make their escape, leaving the viewers in the dark as to who makes it.

But, like any other hit TV show, parts of the story gets leaked and if you manage to piece all the new bits of information together, this is what you come up with for the remainder of Prison Break Season 3:

~ Only four of the prisoners escape: Michael, Whistler, Mahone and McGrady
~ Lechero gets shot in Sona, and TBag takes over the prison
~ Sucre gets sent into Sona
~ Michael sets up the exchange (Whistler for LJ) to take place in a museum. At some point during the exchange, shots are fired outside the museum and Sofia gets caught in the crossfire. Her fate is unknown at this point.
~ The Company finally takes Whistler.

Charice Pempenco

The Filipina 15 yr. old talent with a great voice!

Ellen DeGeneres invited Charice Pempengco to sing on her show last December 19, 2007, after discovering the young sensation on YouTube. The girl can SING - I thought it was Whitney Houston herself when I found her other videos.

As a biography, Charice Pempenco was born on May 10, 1993 in Cabuyao, Laguna in the Philippines, so her age is 15. She is known as the “Young Diva” but also goes by “Cha”.

Charice made a name for herself in 2005 on a show called “Little Big Star” where she came in third, and she’s been heating up YouTube ever since. She’s set to release a few songs digitally one of these days.

Charice has been featured on the E! network, once on the Daily 10 with a headline reading “A Star Is Born”. The other time they named her Hollywood Royalty.

There’s nothing but more big things to come from this tiny girl with a huge voice.

Check out this video of Charice Pempengco. She recently appeared on Ellen. Charice Pempengco is a 15-year-old Filipino singer whose YouTube videos impressed audiences worldwide.

(Singer-songwriter) is the newest member and lead singer of the popular American rock band Journey . Pineda has enjoyed a successful musical career in Asia for the last 25 years. His singing style has been influenced by Steve Perry (Journey), John Farnham (Little River Band), Freddie Mercury (Queen), Sting (The Police), Survivor, Heart, The Beatles, Van Halen, Aerosmith, U2, Warrant, Deep Purple, and other bands from that genre.(wikipedia)

In 2006, Pineda moved back to the Philippines along with Monet Cajipe, the guitarist who has been in all Pineda’s bands during the last 24 years. They formed the Zoo Band. The Zoo Band has performed several nights a week at clubs in Manila and Olongapo during 2006 and 2007. Shows regularly spanned 3-5 hours. The Zoo’s first album “Zoology” was released by MCA Universal in September 2007 featuring 13 original tracks, several of which were penned by Pineda.

JOURNEY WELCOMES ARNEL PINEDA
WITH “OPEN ARMS” TO THEIR FAMILY
AS THE BAND’S NEW LEAD SINGER
Official Site

December 5, 2007 -- After much speculation…the wait is finally over.

JOURNEY--Neal Schon (guitar), Jonathan Cain (keyboards), Ross Valory (bass), Deen Castronovo (drums)--is proud to introduce fans all over the world to their new lead singer, Arnel Pineda (“pin-eh-da”). He replaces Jeff Scott Soto, who parted ways with the band earlier this year after stepping in for Steve Augeri, who had to leave the band in 2006 for medical reasons.

Arnel hails from Quezon City in the Philippines and has been singing Journey songs--in addition to original material--with his band, The Zoo, for the past couple of years in clubs all over his homeland. Joining the legendary band is a dream come true for him.
“It’s so exciting to sing with one of the best bands in the world. It’ll be a lot of hard work on my part and I’m actually looking forward to the scrutiny I’ll get from the hardcore JOURNEY fans. I know they’ll expect me to sound exactly like ‘the voice’ (Steve Perry), but that will never happen. I know there's only one Steve Perry in this world.”

When it was time for JOURNEY to look for a new lead singer, the internet came to their rescue. Guitarist Neal Schon wanted someone new to the music business, so he turned to YouTube. After finding Arnel singing “Faithfully,” he knew he had found the perfect frontman.

“I was frustrated about not having a singer,” explains guitarist Neal Schon, “so I went on YouTube for a couple of days and just sat on it for hours. I was starting to think I was never going to find anybody. But then I found The Zoo and I watched a bunch of different video clips that they had posted. After watching the videos over and over again, I had to walk away from the computer and let what I heard sink in because it sounded too good to be true. I thought, ‘he can’t be that good.’ But he is that good, he’s the real deal and so tremendously talented. Arnel doesn’t sound synthetic and he’s not emulating anyone. I tried to get a hold of him through YouTube and I finally heard from him that night, but it took some convincing to get him to believe that it really was me and not an imposter.”

Arnel Pineda picks up the story: “My friend Noel picked up the message on YouTube and told me it was from Neal. I thought it was a hoax so I ignored it. Noel said, ‘what if it really was Neal and he wanted to offer you the chance of a lifetime?’ So I e-mailed Neal back and the rest is history.”

“Arnel brings a soulful and passionate voice to JOURNEY,” continues keyboardist Jonathan Cain. “His personality is very well-suited to our music. He’s a sincere, authentic person with a great smile and a big heart. I think fans are really going to love him. With Arnel’s soaring tenor, Journey returns to our heritage sound.”

Schon agrees, “We feel reborn. I think there’s a lot of chemistry between the five of us. At first we were going to go into the studio and just write 4 songs, but now it’s escalated to a lot of great new and diverse material. The stuff sounds tremendous. Everyone’s so stoked about it. We feel very fortunate to have found Arnel.”
JOURNEY is currently working on a new album with legendary producer Kevin Shirley, which they hope to release by spring/summer 2008. Details will be announced early next year.

Prison Break to end Where it Began?

In one week Prison Break returns to begin its three episode dash towards the end of its second season. Just where will the boys end up now that their plan for freedom has collapsed? Luckily, Prison Break sources are leaking like a sieve, so if you want to know what the rest of the season holds for Prison Break read on. Beware of major spoilers.

The run begins in March 19's episode of Prison Break, 'Panama'. In this episode we find out what Michael had in mind when he said it was time to disappear and he and Linc attempt to stow away on a freighter bound for Panama. Problem is Sara cannot get to the ship, and the rumor is she will ultimately sacrifice herself to allow the boys to escape. C-Note gets a nice deal from the FBI in exchange for testifying against Mahone, now can the rogue agent be pulled in? Bellick and Sucre are on the trail of T-Bag and his five-million.

March 26's Fin Del Camino picks up with Michael determined to put an end to T-Bag's campaign of terror. Lincoln and Mahone will finally face off. Sarah is in some pretty deep trouble and looks bound for hard time with no witnesses to back her up. There is a huge rumor that Kellerman himself will step in to save Sara, at his own peril. It would make perfect sense for him to go away since he is migrating to ABC to join the Grey's Anatomy spinoff.

April 2nd brings us to the finale and the end of season two for Prison Break. This one is a little light on details but we do know that both Michael and Linc end up in Panama, but Michael is apparently arrested and put into a maximum security prison! Talk about ending where you started off, bet Mike doesn't have a tattoo of this place on his back.

It is extremely odd for the series to end this way, the boys farther away than ever from clearing their names, in a strange foreign land with their allies far behind them. All in all it lays a nifty foundation for season four, and the details we don't know about these episodes will make it all the more interesting.

'Prison Break' Goes on Break

Just as fans were recovering from the particularly graphic and grisly end to Dr. Sara Tancredi (played by Sarah Wayne Callies), there's even more drastic news that's just been announced regarding the third season of Prison Break. The show is going on an extended hiatus.

Fox has confirmed the earlier rumblings that the show will be taking a break starting in December, and won't return until 2008.

The show is having what's called a “fall finale” on December 17. After a four month break, the first episode after the hiatus is slated to air on April 24. Once the late spring season starts up again, all the remaining episodes will run until early June.

When the show has its fall finale, there will have been about 12 to 13 episodes run in the fall season. How many episodes will ultimately run in the spring season remains to be seen.

In the interim, Fox will air The Sarah Connor Chronicles, now renamed Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, in Prison Break's usual timeslot. This new drama is based on the stories featured in the Terminator movie series, and will definitely benefit from its new timeslot with 24.

Some Prison Break fans are alarmed by this development, worrying that the hiatus might have a more ominous meaning behind it. Several fans sites post messages from the Prison Break

However, other fans have noted that due to the international success of the show, it's highly unlikely that Fox would not bring back the show to at least finish out the season. The show is – unlike many other dramas – to have an ultimate story arc, and so at some point, the Prison Break gang will have to stop running when the show comes to its natural conclusion. For now, at least, Fox is saying this four month break is definitely not the end.
